Don’t let the inauspicious outside of the building fool you. Beautifully decorated and hip with a huge yet intimate bar, comfortable booths and a cozy patio with fireplace and bocce ball. The food is outstanding and local with options for every taste and restriction. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan, some good gluten free and lots of delectable animals for the carnivores. Good beer on tap or in the bottle. Plenty of wine to choose from. And an inventive cocktail list.
The service is professional and courteous and often, not hard on the eyes, either gender. Great for date night or laughing with friends. Often there’s live music out on the patio and sometimes they fire up the big barbecue and smoke up something special.
You must try the Pad Thai, it’s not like any you’ve had elsewhere. The fish taco’s are a favorite staple and the chips and guacamole are addictive. Come look behind the fence and see what all the fuss is about.
Also try the Vig Downtown, sit at the bar, and ask for Brooks. And if you’re down there, don’t miss the art show behind the outdoor bar.
